This week in music …
Kindergarten:

Continued singing different action songs and
singing games

Had the chance to play a steady beat using the
hand drum, rhythm sticks and by shaking an egg shaker
Grade 1:

Continued singing in tune many rhythmic singing
games and action songs. As well as
learning the first verse to our “Chance” song

Created and clapped rhythm patterns using “ta,”
“titi” and “sh”
Grade 2:
-
Recognized, created and clapped rhythm patterns
in the time signature 2/4

Continued to extend their knowledge with various
notes and rests

Worked on keeping a steady beat by playing
different patterns on the wooden spoons

Continued their vocal development by working on
our first Remembrance Day song
Grade 3:

Created and clapped rhythm patterns in the time signature
