This week in music … TASC - Continued practicing keeping a steady beat using the hand drums - Explored rubbing their hand on the hand drum - Used the file folder song “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” Kindergarten - Talked about a slow beat and a fast beat - Practiced standing still for “O Canada” Grade 1 - Continued moving to a slow, medium and fast beat while playing the beat on the boomwhackers - Played the game “Farmer in the Dell” by using a Halloween theme - Continued working on vocal development by practicing our songs for Remembrance Day Grade 2 - Continued working in small groups on boomwhacker songs and focusing on playing simple rhythms - Continued working on vocal development through singing in tune and doing simple echo activities Grade 3 - Listened to a classical song called “Spring” by Vivaldi and talked about what they noticed in a class
